The current version, CosmoBot V3, is at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and being used in physical therapy with children with disabilities through a NIH funded project. CosmoBot has been tested with children with a range of abilities including children with autism, Downs Syndrome, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, apraxia, neurodevelopmental disorders, language developmental disorders and who are typically developing. Funders have included: National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and Department of Education. The goal is to develop a commercially available CosmoBot that can be used in educational and rehabilitation environments.
